#800 - Servicycle  -  1949-50
Early Toys - Page 4
What is it? A mobile mechanic? A messenger service? Who knows? The Nylint #800 Servicycle was
nonetheless a colorful and attractive early toy. Some say it might be copied from Japan products(?).
This handsome lad feels lucky to be the driver.
Plastic windshield is missing on this example.
Looks very much like the contemporary
Cushman scooter rear end.
#900 - Power Pony  -  1948-49(?)
Did the #900 Power Pony ever make it into production? I've never seen or heard of one. It must have
been a very complex mechanical toy. A photo (probably a prototype) and further information can be
found in the Literature section. If you have one, write me.
#1000 - Deliverall  -  1949
The #1000 Deliverall was an obvious delivery scooter, popular in large industrial and material  yards .
Nylint's version was not steerable (as was the #900 Servicycle). Again, a Japanese influence(?).
Same head as above with slightly different
lithography. Cheerful chaps!
The Cushman design influence is noticeable in
this profile shot of the engine compartment.
The plastic windshield is also missing on this
example. You could haul a nice sized load here.
The same stamping was used for the back half
of both the Servicycle and the Deliverall.
