Minnitoy Tractor-Trailer Trucks
|
Minnitoy tractor-trailer trucks were very rugged. Note the sturdy stiffening ribs affixed to the interior of
the trailer. Wide and strong rear axle support brackets rarely failed - even with hard use.
Most Minnitoy cabs were dip painted. The bare
metal area behind the front bumpers was the
result of air pockets that formed during this
process. Note too the runs in the paint which
were made when the toy was lifted out of the
paint vat.
This extra hole appears in many Minnitoy
tractor-trailer cab frames. It seems to have been
used only by the Hydraulic Dump Truck.
One of the finest condition Minnitoy trucks to be found. This example was probably used for display and saw little, if any, play time.
