The dumping mechanism for this truck (as well
as others in the Minnitoy line-up) was a simple
bent rod mounted in upright tabs. These tabs
seem a bit flimsy when compared to the
construction of the rest of the truck. The
swinging tailgate lock lever was unique to the
Dept. of Highways truck. With its checkered rear
end this truck would be hard to miss on the
roadways!
Another version of this truck featured dual rear axles.
